Our specialized engineers have designed a special drain plug for the fuel tanks of Caterpillar. Customers expressed dissatisfaction after OEM drain valves regularly broke on machines. Femco wouldn’t be Femco if we hadn’t come up with a solution for this. We have designed a special stainless steel 316 drain plug for these applications. The dust cap is made of strong POM to protect the plug from, for example, stones. A fuel tank can have a capacity of 2500-5000L, and this plug can handle it.
This plug only needs to be installed once. You can empty the tank completely in a short time. The fluids starts draining when you attach Femco’s quick-connect clicker to the plug. The valve of the plug opens, and you can drain all the fuel.
